How does the QC flow work at Clickpost’s end?

Modified on Thu, 4 Sep at 10:50 PM

Clickpost enables Quality Check functionality based on the integrations established with courier partners. Each courier shares the specific QC parameters they support, along with a sample payload structure that outlines how they expect these details to be passed for reverse orders, which Clickpost integrates internally. This allows their delivery agents to perform QC checks at the time of pickup.

For Brands: How to Enable QC Flow?

  1. Selection of Parameters

Clickpost will share a list of QC parameters already integrated for each courier. The brand can select the relevant parameters they want to enable and coordinate the same with the courier partner.

  1. Payload Configuration

Once the parameters are finalized, brands must configure their order creation payload to include QC-specific identifiers. To enable QC for an order, the following field must be passed:

"qc_type": "doorstep"

  1. Integration Alignment

It's crucial for brands to officially enable QC through Clickpost, even if they have already agreed on the parameters with the courier. This ensures:

The correct QC parameters are passed to the courier as part of the payload

The appropriate item-level details are included to support successful validation at the time of pickup

  1. Mandatory Flag

For every order that requires a QC process, the brand must ensure the qc_type flag is included in the order creation request. Without this, QC validation will not be triggered.
