What is a Courier Partner ID and Account Code?

At Clickpost, we are integrated with 500+ courier partners, each identified by a unique Courier Partner ID. This ID is critical in scenarios like API requests, as it helps us correctly identify which courier partner should handle the order.


Since brands may have multiple use cases within the same courier—such as different credentials, configurations, or service types—Clickpost allows the creation of multiple accounts under a single courier partner. Each of these is assigned an Account Code.


When an order is created, the Courier Partner ID in the API payload identifies the courier partner, while the Account Code specifies the exact account to route the order through. This ensures accurate order mapping, routing, and processing every time.



How to find the Account Code and Courier Partner ID on the dashboard

  • Go to Menu.

  • Navigate to Settings → Carrier → Carrier Integrations.

  • Click View Details for the carrier you want to check.

  • You’ll be redirected to a page showing the Account Code and Courier Partner ID.
