What is Holiday Configuration: You can configure courier partner wise exhaustive holiday list, which will help in operational accuracy of the courier partners
Use case: Mainly for courier partner wise and location specific EDD calculation.
Steps for Holiday configuration:
(1) Go to Settings > Carrier > Holiday Configuration
(2) Click on 'Add New Holiday' under Holiday List or 'Holiday Creation'
(3) Date Range: Select the 'Date Range' within which you want to define the holidays
(4) State Type: This defines that the carrier partner holiday is for pickup status / drop status or both the status. For eg.: If you have defined 01/01/2023 as holiday, then the courier partner will be non-operational for pickup or drop or both, on that date.
(5) States: Select the states for which the holiday is applicable
(6) Carrier Partner: Select the Carrier partners for which the holiday is applicable
(7) Once all above steps are done, click on 'Submit'
You can add multiple holidays in your Holiday list
