How does Shipment Lifecycle in NPR Works?

Modified on Sat, 20 Sep at 10:37 PM

The journey of a failed pickup case in NPR follows a structured lifecycle. Each stage represents the progress of the case from creation to resolution:

  1. New Cases

    • Every failed pickup automatically appears here.

    • Cases stay in this bucket until an agent takes action (based on customer or operational feedback).

  2. Processed

    • When an agent updates the case with an action (e.g., reattempt request, cancellation, or marking as already picked), the case moves to Processed.

  3. Mailed

    • Once the chosen instruction is shared with the courier partner, the case transitions to Mailed.

    • At this stage, no new instructions can be issued, since the courier will act only on the last submitted update.

  4. Post Reattempt Outcomes

    • Successful Pickup → The case moves to Closed, marking the pickup as completed.

    • Failed Pickup Again → The case is pushed back into New Cases for another round of follow-up and action.
