The journey of a failed pickup case in NPR follows a structured lifecycle. Each stage represents the progress of the case from creation to resolution:
New Cases
Every failed pickup automatically appears here.
Cases stay in this bucket until an agent takes action (based on customer or operational feedback).

Processed
When an agent updates the case with an action (e.g., reattempt request, cancellation, or marking as already picked), the case moves to Processed.

Mailed
Once the chosen instruction is shared with the courier partner, the case transitions to Mailed.
At this stage, no new instructions can be issued, since the courier will act only on the last submitted update.

Post Reattempt Outcomes
Successful Pickup → The case moves to Closed, marking the pickup as completed.

Failed Pickup Again → The case is pushed back into New Cases for another round of follow-up and action.
