Objective: The objective of this document is to define the steps required in the integration of the Easyecom OMS with Clickpost system, adding Clickpost as a courier partner


Prerequisite:

  • Easyecom has integrated with the Order creation and recommendation api of clickpost 

  • Clickpost account hase been configured for the Customer and the API key / credentials have been shared 


Adding Clickpost in the Carrier Master: To be able to create orders using Clickpost recommendation of couriers, Clinet need to set up Clickpost as one of the carriers in their Easyecom account, refer the following steps:


1. Logon to your Easyecom account 


2. Click on the Masters tab and select Carrier Master



3. After clicking on Carrier Master you will see all the carriers listed in your Easyecom account 


4. Next, click on Add New and select Clickpost from the Carrier dropdown



5. Enter the following details while setting up a courier account


  • Serviceability type - To selected pincode OR all pincodes
  • Priority
  • User name - As shared by Clickpost 
  • Password - Enter the API key shared by Clickpost here 
  • Token - Can be left blank or any dummy value 
  • Set the Status as Active and Save


Testing the Order Creation via Clickpost recommendation


  1. To test the configuration, create a new order in the Easyecom panel, if you want to test the recommendation flow, then configure a rule in Clickpost which can be applied to the orders initiated from Easyecom (refer the below image on how to set up recommendation rule in Clickpost)
  2. Next, Create an order in Easyecom and confirm the same from the panel, based on the priority it will pick Clickpost as a courier and generate the corresponding shipping label after creating the order successfully
